Well, I am not sure how I want to make this happen. I was firstly fascinated by this site after a friend sent me it a couple weeks ago. There was something very special about the 1990s-2000s aesthetic that really hit me. The way all these sites are personalized and very much alive by their respective... 'webmasters'? (Is that the right term to use here? lol) makes it feel special and curated. I think there is something deeply personal in making your own website, putting care into every process along the way; from design to content. I remember when I was visiting the archives of old geocities pages that were actually made in the 90s and 00s; it felt like such a time capsule. I bet all these past website owners are all in their 30s and 40s now; but those pages had so much life and vibrancy to them, especially in a time when the internet was primal and in its' inception. I was entranced and wanted to make my own. Too bad I don't know how to code, I guess I'll have to learn that. So, this site will be a keepsake of me, my own place to put my own thoughts, tucked here in this corner of the internet :).
I mean this page is supposed to be about me but I am still thinking about how 'anonymous' I want to be. There is something charming about total anonymity, so I guess I will give out personal information about me very hesitatnly for now. But I am here to take over the world! After reading this intro, I think I could just block out the stuff that's not about me into a blog post of some sorts (Will do!).
